Collège Antoine Augustin Parmentier (CAAP) is a public secondary education institution located in Montdidier, a historic town in the Somme department, in the Hauts-de-France region. The school welcomes students from 6th to 9th grade and it accommodates approximately 503 students.

CAAP promotes sustainability, scientific excellence, and student engagement through hands-on projects in environmental monitoring and research. Its eco-delegates lead initiatives on air and water quality, biodiversity, and climate awareness, in collaboration with partners like the Red Cross, MNHN, and TaraOcean Foundation. Alongside strong science programs, CAAP fosters well-being and solidarity through sports and community-focused activities.

She began her career researching battery materials before becoming a physics and chemistry teacher. Her experience also includes air quality monitoring and pollution control in the industrial sector.

Hubert Damien is the dedicated technician at Collège Antoine Augustin Parmentier (CAAP). He provides essential technical support for the school's various projects. For the STEAMies project, his expertise is crucial, as he will specifically assist in finding the best way to install the air sensors. His involvement ensures the successful practical implementation of the student-driven environmental monitoring activities.

Web2Learn is a digital education company that offers high-quality digital learning and professional training solutions and services. The company is located in Thessaloniki, Greece, and the team is composed of nine highly qualified individuals.

Web2Learn specializes in two areas: a) digital training and openness and b) social and open innovation. It develops services and products related to openness in education, science and policy. They match current societal claims for more collaboration and sharing opportunities through open content creation and release in an ethical and transparent manner.

Katerina Zourou, Ph.D, is an expert in technology-enhanced education, open and social learning. She has published a scholarly book, multiple journal issues, and 30+ peer-reviewed papers. As Managing Director of Web2Learn, she leads research and development in over 43 international projects.

Her knowledge of the digital world is multifaceted and includes web development, social media marketing, and IT. She has a special enthusiasm for creating websites and is dedicated to lifelong learning and keeping up with new and developing technology.

Stefania Oikonomou

Stefania specialises in community engagement and social participation in citizen science projects. Stefania is also interested in science communication and open science. She has acquired a BA in political science (2020) and an MA in political history (2022) from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Afonso de Albuquerque School Grouping (AEAAG), located in Guarda, Portugal’s highest city, serves around 2,100 students from preschool to secondary and professional levels. With over 168 years of history, AEAAG is a national reference for educational excellence and active in Erasmus+ projects since 2017. Its programs foster innovation, sustainability, and citizenship through initiatives such as Eco-Schools, Robotics, language certifications, and Youth Parliament.

The Nautical Activities Training Center promotes hands-on STEAM learning via sailing, rowing, and paddle sports, integrating physics, environmental science, and problem-solving. AEAAG is also part of the UNESCO Associated Schools Network, promoting quality education, peace, and sustainability.

Carlos holds a Master’s in Physical Education and multiple postgraduate degrees. With 31 years teaching Sports and Nautical Activities, he coordinates Erasmus projects and CFD Náutico programs, is a certified coach in swimming, sailing, and canoeing, and has lifelong experience in water sports.

Isabel has 39 years of teaching experience, including 33 years with special needs students in Guarda, Portugal. She specializes in inclusive methodologies, adapting materials, and coordinating special education teams, while actively participating in international projects to promote professional development and educational inclusion.
Maria Dulce Silva

Maria is a Portuguese educator with extensive experience in special education and preschool teaching. Holding multiple degrees and certifications, she works in Guarda’s public education system and previously contributed to pediatric development in a hospital consultation role.

Junior High School of Livadochori (JHSLL), located in central Lemnos, serves students from 15 villages since 1989, offering three grades of junior high education. With 104 students and 22 teachers, the school ranks 7th nationwide for sustainability. It has won many awards and distinctions in national and international competitions.

JHSLL actively participates in Erasmus+ projects, eTwinning, UDL, and Open Schooling programs, as well as art, technology, robotics, environmental, and sports initiatives. Its well-equipped lab includes Arduino, 3D printers, sensors, and Lego Education tools, supporting hands-on STEAM learning. Teachers are trained in innovative methodologies, fostering student engagement, creativity, and interdisciplinary skills through projects and international collaborations.
